While buying a new computer for my daughter who was attending a university a long distance away from home, I thought it would be best if I purchased the extended warranty as well. Her computer crashed just after the first year passed. It took amost three months and four service calls before the technician told us that the computer was non-repairable. And after several calls to the warranty company, they agreed to refund us our money and not give a "gift card".....I wanted my money back in order to replace the computer at another business.
